Cleveland Personal Injury Attorney James Lowe Named “Lawyer of the Year” for 2014

February 14, 2014

Best Lawyers® has again named Cleveland personal injury attorney James A. Lowe, partner at Lowe Scott Fisher, to its annual ranking of preeminent national attorneys in its 2014 edition. Lowe was named the Best Lawyers’ 2014 Cleveland Product Liability Litigation – Plaintiffs “Lawyer of the Year.” The Best Lawyers ranking is particularly noteworthy as it’s comprised of rankings from peers.

In addition to Lawyer of the Year honors, Lowe was recognized as a “Best Lawyer” in the following practice areas: Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs and Product Liability Litigation – Plaintiffs. In addition to his extensive experience, he was selected for receiving exceptional ratings in legal skills, personal credibility and dedication to protecting the rights of his clients. The publication has selected Lowe for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America each year since 1993.

“For more than 30 years, the mission of our firm has been to act as advocates for victims of defective products and personal injury,” said partner Ryan Fisher. “All of us at the firm are proud to see James given the recognition he deserves, which is particularly meaningful since it comes from his professional colleagues.”

Best Lawyers, the oldest and most prestigious peer-review publication in the legal profession, complies its lists of outstanding attorneys by conducting exhaustive peer-review surveys in which thousands of leading lawyers confidentially evaluate their professional peers.

Only a single lawyer in each practice area and designated metropolitan area is honored as the “Lawyer of the Year.” Best Lawyers selects honorees based on voting averages received during the exhaustive peer-review assessments the organization conducts annually.

Lowe is a nationally recognized trial lawyer specializing in product liability, automobile product safety, and other complex cases. He has been board certified in trial advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy for more than 20 years.

Lowe has authored multiple texts and treatises on product liability and motor vehicle defect cases, and frequently lectures on these subjects both in the U.S. and abroad. He also remains very active in the legal community as a fellow of both the International Society of Barristers and the American College of Trial Lawyers.
