Attorney James A. Lowe Honored in Cleveland-Marshall Law Hall of Fame

Lowe Scott Fisher Co., LPA is delighted to announce that founding partner, James A. Lowe, has been honored as a 2021 Cleveland-Marshall College of Law Hall of Fame inductee. Lowe was originally slated to receive the honor in 2020, but due to social distancing restrictions related to COVID-19, the ceremony was postponed to 2021.

The Cleveland-Marshall Law Hall of Fame was established in 2017 to recognize and honor alumni, faculty and staff who have enhanced the excellence and ongoing success and prestige of the school through their professional achievements, reputations and intellectual contributions.

“It’s an honor to be included in the 2021 Cleveland-Marshall Law Hall of Fame and to join the ranks of so many distinguished alumni, faculty and staff,” said Lowe. “I’m immensely proud of my alma mater and am delighted to represent our wide-spread community in my pursuit of helping victims and their families.”


Lowe is a 1972 graduate of Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. He has since worked tirelessly to forge a reputation as one of the country’s top product liability attorneys. Lowe founded Lowe Scott Fisher, a nationally-recognized law firm located in Cleveland, OH, in 1976. His expertise is particularly concentrated on automobile product liabilitydefective products, and catastrophic personal injury.

He has successfully tried hundreds of cases across the nation and delivered over $100 million in verdicts and settlements to victims and their families. Lowe has authored numerous texts and treatises and has lectured on product liability across the nation. Lowe was named a Cleveland-Marshall Law Distinguished Alumnus in 2012. In 2018, he was honored with the Ohio Association for Justice Lifetime Achievement Award.

Lowe is also board-certified in trial advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and has been recognized by the American College of Trial lawyers, the International Academy of Trial Lawyers and the International Society of Barristers. He has been listed in SuperLawyers as a top attorney in Ohio every year since its inception and is included annually in National Trial Lawyers Association’s Top 100 Trial Lawyers list.

In addition to his many achievements, Lowe is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, Master Bencher Emeritus, American Inns of Court, President’s Club, William K. Thomas Inn of Court, the Ohio Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates and the Attorneys Information Exchange Group. He was Past President, Cleveland Academy of Trial Attorneys, and Past Chair, ATLA Products Liability Section.
