Cleveland Car Accident Attorney Scheduled to Discuss Settlement Options and Trial Issues at Upcoming Seminar

February 27, 2014

Cleveland car accident attorney Michelle L. Holiday of Lowe Scott Fisher will be presenting at a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) seminar titled “Basics of Auto Accident Law” on June 12, 2012 in Cleveland, Ohio. Holiday will be discussing settlement options for car accident victims and trial issues in motor vehicle litigation.

Located at the Hyatt Regency Cleveland at The Arcade, the seminar will be hosted by LawReviewCle. It will give attorneys of all levels the opportunity to hone their skills, learn new techniques and understand changes in Ohio laws involving automobile, truck and motorcycle accidents as well as wrongful death cases.

During her presentation, Holiday will explain how to effectively negotiate favorable settlements in automobile, truck and motorcycle accidents. She will also update her fellow personal injury attorneys on recent changes in Ohio subrogation law, including Medicare and Medicaid, as well as other lien considerations. For injury cases in litigation, Holiday will address effective paper discovery and how to conduct effective depositions of parties and fact witnesses, as well as medical and liability witnesses. Other issues to be discussed are different strategies regarding the filing of pretrial motions for personal injury litigation in an attempt to maximize a client’s chance of a successful verdict.

“It is vital for Cleveland car accident attorneys to remain up-to-date and educated on the ever-changing personal injury and wrongful death laws,” noted firm partner Ryan Fisher. “Personal injury lawyers from our firm remain well-informed on current and future trends, and help educate others by regularly speaking at legal seminars and other events dealing with issues affecting personal injury and wrongful death cases in Ohio.”
