James Lowe Wins 2014 Litigator Award for Personal Injury Law

January 22, 2015

James Lowe, Principal Attorney at Lowe Scott Fisher Co., LPA, Cleveland, Ohio, has been honored by the Trial Lawyers Board of Regents with the 2014 Litigator Award in the category of personal injury law.

The Litigator Award is among the most prestigious honors in the legal profession, and is given only to attorneys considered to be in the top 1 percent of law practices in their respective fields. Achieving this honor typically demands years or even decades of service. Although 1.1 million attorneys are considered for the award each year, only a handful are recognized in each state. For prospective clients, the Litigator Awards offer an objective way to evaluate trial lawyers, helping them make better-informed selections.

“Our firm has a passionate belief in a civil justice system that makes our society safer, by encouraging people and companies to act responsibly,” explains James Lowe. Creating a safer environment through better accountability and harsher penalties for those that violate established laws is among the law firm’s governing philosophies.

Winners of the Litigator Awards are determined based on actual “Verdict & Settlement” dollar achievement rather than peer popularity, making them among the most rigorous and openly judged award ratings anywhere. To determine this, independent audit and research teams put the candidates through a thorough vetting process to ensure that the verdicts and settlements are within the guidelines needed to win. Nominees are considered based on litigation achievement in jury trials, trials before the court and appellate practice. The Performance-Oriented Rating Methodology used to judge nominees makes the Litigator Awards program among the most rigorous trial-law competitions in the nation.

In addition to the Litigator Award, James Lowe and his firm have received numerous other awards and recognitions over the last several years, including Lawyer of the Year, Super Lawyer, and an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

Lowe Scott Fisher Co., LPA (https://lsflaw.com), founded in 1976, is recognized as a leader in medical malpractice, personal injury and product liability cases.
