Lowe Scott Fisher is excited to announce a new monthly segment: Lowe Profiles. Each month we’ll feature an attorney or staff member at Lowe Scott Fisher to get to know them and how they came to be a part of the LSF team.

This month’s Lowe Profile features: Taylor Rose, paralegal and two-year veteran of the firm.

How did you become part of the LSF team?

I have a BA from Denison University, with a double major in Women’s Studies and Philosophy. After college, I worked in social services for the homeless community. I eventually decided I wanted to go back to my original plan of entering the legal field, but wanted to try a paralegal program first. I completed a post-BA paralegal certification program and have been in the personal injury field since 2016.

Before LSF, I worked for a different firm where I met my wife. I decided to keep my personal life separate from my professional life, and started interviewing at different firms. I knew after meeting with the attorneys and staff at LSF that I would be very happy working here—and it has been a great experience.

Tell us about your pets:

We have a dog, Major, who is a 3-year-old rescue. He is a boxer/hound mix. He is very handsome and sweet, and has become a beloved member of our family. We also have three cats (my wife had them before me. I don’t particularly like cats.) Their names are Cable, Maverick, and Dirk. Maverick has a gimp leg, and he is the only one I like. My wife said if I keep complaining about the cats, she will buy more cats. So, I try to coexist with them as best I can.

What would you be doing if you weren’t in your current career?

I would like to get my Ph.D. and be a Women’s Studies Professor at a University.

If you could have any superpower what would it be and why?

I’d like to be able to teleport, because flights are expensive and I love to travel.
